National Finals Rodeo

Well, I found people worse than golfers when it comes to tips. The "cowboys" that are here for the National Finals Rodeo are the worst tippers I have ever seen. They don't tip the dealers, but they do tip the cocktail waitress fifty cents, not even a dollar. That's pretty cheap when you are playing $100 a hand

In contrast to golfers the "cowboys" have all been nice people other than their lack of tipping. They are friendly and don't treat me like a "piece of shit" proletariat that needs to be put in his place.

In other news at work, they are making us sign a piece of paper. This paper says that we will be written up to different degrees for making mistakes depending on the amount of money involved. So, if you make a mistake under $100 than you get a point, if you make a mistake over $1,000 than you get more points or or get fired or whatever. I haven't seen the form yet. Anyway, that means that when they put me in the high limit room, I'm exposed to more risk for the same amount of pay. When someone said that it was "unfair" to the Casino Manager, he said that all of the big casinos are doing it. A Co-worker of mine checked with her daughter that works at the Bellagio and she has never heard of such a form. Bellagio is part of MGM/Mirage corp. making it part of the company that owns the majority of the big casinos. I have a good feeling that our Casino Manager is just a liar. Everyone at work is talking union. It won't happen, but it should, just because we deserve sick days if nothing else.
